The Equity Launches Free Advertising Program for Local Non-Profits

In conjunction with an expansion to a full 16-page weekly publication at the end of October, The Equity is launching a new Community Non-Profit Support Program. This initiative offers complimentary advertising space to help local registered non-profit organizations raise awareness, recruit volunteers, and generate community support.

As part of The Equity’s ongoing commitment to the Pontiac, the new program provides eligible organizations with access to free full-colour ad placements in 1/8, 1/16, and 1/32 (“bulletin board”) page sizes. These ads will run on a standby basis as space allows, rotating among participating organizations.

To further assist non-profits with targeted event advertising and broader promotional campaigns, The Equity and its partner businesses, Pontiac Printshop and Calumet Media, are introducing two additional community benefits:

  • 100% Bonus Ad Matching: Organizations purchasing a paid advertisement for a specific event or guaranteed publication date will receive a second ad of equal value at no additional charge.

  • 25% Cross-Promotional Advertising Credit: Non-profits purchasing promotional items, signage, or digital marketing services through Pontiac Printshop or Calumet Media will earn a 25% credit toward future Equity advertising. Unlike standby ads, these earned credits can be applied toward specific event promotions or targeted campaigns.

The organization must be a registered non-profit organization or registered charity operating in Quebec (holding an active NEQ with the Registre des entreprises du Québec or a CRA/Revenu Québec registration number). Organizations interested in submitting generic promotional materials or learning more about the program are encouraged to contact The Equity at support@theequity.ca.
