Explore the History of Our Region with the New Website from The Pontiac Archives

The Pontiac Archives has officially launched its brand-new website, giving residents and researchers easier access to the stories, photos, and documents that define the Pontiac’s rich history.

Built by Calumet Media, the new platform features a clean, modern design and powerful tools for browsing by year, theme, or municipality. The site includes over 500 high-resolution scanned photos—ready for reprinting—more than 1,000 pages of digitized documents, and over 30 hours of audio recorded more than 50 years ago, capturing the voices of Pontiac residents who are no longer with us.

Whether you’re tracing your family roots, researching local landmarks, or simply curious about the past, this new website makes it easier than ever to explore and engage with our region’s heritage.

Congratulations to the team at The Pontiac Archives for creating a digital space where our shared history can live on and grow!
