Canada Post Update: No Impact for The Equity

Canada Post workers represented by CUPW have announced that they will no longer deliver unaddressed commercial flyers as part of their ongoing labour dispute. This decision has created uncertainty for many businesses and community publishers who rely on that distribution method to reach households.

Subscribers and advertisers with The Equity can be reassured that this disruption does not affect us. Because The Equity is mailed as addressed mail, it continues to be delivered without interruption. Every subscriber will continue receiving their newspaper, and advertisers can remain confident that their messages will reach readers on schedule.

For businesses with time-sensitive advertising needs, reliability is essential. The Equity remains a stable and dependable channel to reach households across the Pontiac, even as delivery disruptions may affect other publications. Advertisers who want to ensure their campaigns go out on schedule are encouraged to get in touch with us at jon@theequity.ca.
