Meet the Videographer
Bryan Chen started photography at a very youg age, with a career that spaned the world including Hong Kong, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Toronto. He brings a wealth of global experience to his craft. His notable work with CityTV in Toronto is a testament to his professional prowess. In pursuit of a more serene lifestyle, Bryan, alongside his partner, relocated to Ladysmith in 2022. There, they have dedicated themselves to educating aspiring artists in the disciplines of videography and digital art through remote instruction through their company JR Art Lab.
In the year 2023, Bryan enhanced the team at Calumet Media by joining as a part-time photographer and videographer. His contributions have been instrumental in key projects, notably in the redevelopment of the MRC Pontiac website. Bryan’s commitment to the artistic community extends beyond his professional endeavors, as evidenced by his recent appointment to the Board of Directors at Art Pontiac, where he serves as treasurer, furthering the organization’s mission within the local community.

Join Shop Le Pontiac
The Pontiac Chamber of Commerce, through funding provided by SADC Pontiac, have launched into their third year of “Shop Le Pontiac.” This program provides small business owners within the MRC Pontiac and nearby municipalities with advanced video production at a fraction of the normal cost.
Registration for this program is now open, and available on the Chamber of Commerce’s website.
